NVR mounted indoors in a utility closet or media space. HDD formatted, recording schedule configured (continuous and motion-triggered), and storage overwrite rules set. Retention days confirmed with you before sign-off.

App configured on your phone before we leave. Live view, recording playback, and motion alert notifications all tested and working. Detection zones set to minimize false alerts from trees, traffic, or light changes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a cloud subscription to view my cameras?
No. Both tiers use local NVR storage - footage is recorded and saved on-site with no cloud subscription required. Remote viewing is available via app from any device on any network. You own your footage.
Will my cameras still record if the internet goes down?
Yes. Recording is handled locally by the NVR and continues regardless of internet status. Remote viewing via app will be unavailable during an outage, but footage continues to record and is accessible as soon as your connection is restored.
How is a wired system better than wireless cameras?
Wired IP cameras do not compete for WiFi bandwidth, do not drop connection during router reboots, and maintain recording during internet outages. They are more reliable, more secure, and produce a cleaner installation without wireless interference issues.
What is the difference between the two tiers?
Both tiers use wired IP cameras with local NVR storage - the Capture Advance tier is 5MP, the UniFi G6 is 8MP 4K. The Capture Advance tier uses motion-based detection and is priced lower. The UniFi G6 tier adds AI-powered detection - person, package, and vehicle recognition - and integrates natively with UniFi networking. If AI detection or UniFi integration matters to you, the G6 tier is worth the difference.
Can I add more cameras later?
Yes. NVRs have additional channel capacity and can accommodate more cameras. We design systems with expansion in mind so adding cameras later does not require replacing the NVR or redoing existing infrastructure in most cases.
Do you also install smart doorbells and locks?
Yes - those are separate services. You can add a smart doorbell and smart lock to any camera package for +$299 (combo pricing). Or visit our smart doorbell and smart lock pages for standalone installs.
